We are Paul and Karen Samways, We bought our first bully in May 1991. It was a decision that took us some eighteen months to agree on, Karen wanted something normal, but I had always wanted a bully.

Our first bully was a red dog Rapping Reggie who was a real character and his pet name was Rocky. We both learned so much about the breed from him, especially how stubborn they are, it wasn't until he was nine months old before he would walk on the lead properly.

After having Rocky six months we decided to get a bitch, she was Crossguns Southern Charm litter sister to Ch. Crossguns Checkmate at Bullview (owned by John and Mandy Young). She was a beautiful bitch and her pet name was Misty.

We mated Misty to Ch. Mapalee Inoxydable and had our first litter in September 1993, we kept a dog from the litter who was Hardysview Star of a Gunner who we called Buster.

By this time we had the bug and as they say the rest is history...............................................
